Yearbook Update

Due to a very unusual year of missed days of school, our yearbooks will be available for pick up in early August. We apologize for the inconvenience. An email will be sent when books are ready to be picked up in campus offices. If your family is moving out of the area, we will be happy to mail the book to you when it arrives. Please call the Upper School office if you ordered a yearbook and would like it mailed to you.

Principal's Praise

What an amazing year this has been! God has been so good to our campus by providing us with wonderful students, great parents, and incredible teachers and staff. My heart has been so blessed by all of your encouragement, support and prayers throughout the entire school year.  Our students have grown in so many ways; physically, emotionally, and most importantly, spiritually. I am truly thankful that the Lord allowed me to be here to see Him at work in each of their lives.  I’m praying the Lord grants you a great summer, and time to rest in His promise that “We are His masterpiece…” Eph 2:10

Upcoming 6th grader Reading Assignments

All rising 6th through 12th grade students have summer reading assignments. Please visit the Upper School section of our Downloads page for the lists. A price list of books available from the Upper School office is available there as well.

Parent Volunteers--Thank you!

This has been such a wonderful year—and much of the credit for that goes to the parents and grandparents who have partnered with us! This year could not have happened without you! So many of you have volunteered in the Computer Lab, the Library, during lunch time, Teacher Appreciation Week, and special events, just to name a few. The time you sacrificed has not only alleviated pressure from the teachers, but it has allowed for the students to have some unique and fun opportunities that otherwise would not have been possible. Please stop by the office this week to pick up a treat that says, "thank you" for a great year!

Warm Weather Safety Reminder

Spring has sprung, and most of us are enjoying more and more time outdoors. Spending more time outside means taking proper precautions to protect yourself and your kids from mosquitoes, ticks, fleas and other bothersome bugs. Recently we have had students tell us about their encounters with ticks at home. It’s not just the outdoorsy types who need to worry about ticks-- you could pick one up in your own yard while gardening or playing outside. Prevent tick bites and tick-borne illnesses with these four steps:
It's smart to wear light-colored clothing and shoes during the summertime because they help keep you cooler -- and, as it turns out, they help you spot any ticks that may be crawling on you. Also, although it won't win you any fashion awards, tucking your pant legs into your socks can help minimize ticks crawling up your legs or into your shoes.
Insect repellents that contain DEET or permethrin can reduce your chances of tick bites. DEET products may be applied directly to exposed skin (not skin under your clothing) and to clothing, but should be used sparingly on kids -- look for products with about 20 percent DEET concentration, and apply it to your child's body, avoiding his or her face and hands. Permethrin should only be applied to clothing.
Know Your Enemy
Ticks like to hang out in grassy or wooded areas, and they are especially fond of places that are moist or humid.
Be Vigilant with Tick Checks
Do a tick check on everyone in the family every night. Contracting a tick-borne illness can take up to 36 hours if a tick isn't removed, so you want to be prompt and thorough. The CDC recommends you check under the arms, between the legs, around the waist, inside the navel, and don't forget the hairline and scalp.

After logging in, click the "Student Directory" tab located on the left sidebar. You may search by student name, homeroom teacher, or grade (please note: all grades at the Stafford campus are preceded with an "S"). After entering your search criteria, click the "Search" button. Once you receive your search results, click the student's name to see contact information for that student.

Please be aware that some families have indicated that they would like their information kept private (either all contact info or just their phone number). In those cases, contact information will not be displayed.
