Uruguay

God works in miraculous ways! Last year's Uruguay Mission team had a change of plans on their way to Montevideo. When they landed in Miami for their connecting flight, they discovered that it had been canceled, and the soonest flight out wasn't for three days.

A local church came to the rescue providing shelter, food, fellowship and even clothes. They eventually made it to Uruguay and got right to work at a local church after dropping off their bags at a former monastery. That night the students participated in their first church service, and they realized how instrumental their pit stop had been in allowing them to finalize their plans for skits and worship songs. Throughout the two weeks, each team member had the opportunity to form new relationships with Uruguayans, and none were ready to depart when it was time to go home. Each member had a unique experience and learned new things about God and His amazing provision.
