Students Compete in 5th-8th Grade District Spelling Bee
Great students and great spirits and attitudes toward each other and other schools were all a part of the ACSI District Spelling Bee for grades 5-8 at Christian Faith and Fellowship School in Ashburn on March 5.
Congratulations to the following FCS students who placed in the Spelling Bee:
5th Grade – Ian D., 3rd place; and Basim A., 4th place.
(Ian is the FCS representative for the Scripps National Spelling Bee to be held this Saturday at 2 p.m. at James Monroe High School Auditorium.)
6th Grade – Martin M., 3rd place
7th Grade – Evan H., 3rd place; and Isabella D., 4th place
8th Grade – Celestia L., 2nd place.
(Celestia qualified for the Spell-Off Bee with seven other students from grades 5-8 where she competed through several more rounds.)
