Guidance

Guidance Services
Fredericksburg Christian High School guidance services encourage a partnership with students and parents to provide support of life and career stewardship in the student’s academic, personal and career development. This is accomplished through interactions with school personnel, parents, pastors and students. Emphasis is put on the student’s God-given talents and abilities that the Lord has entrusted to them to be developed and used to fulfill the Lord’s mission in this world.
The guidance department oversees student and parent orientation, student placement, scheduling of classes, student academic records, special services for students, Advanced Placement coordination, scholarship awareness, academic and leadership summer enrichment opportunities, standardized testing, and college and career planning. A significant amount of time is used in personal conferences with students and parents to individualize a student’s high school program to best develop and use the student’s God-given abilities. Fredericksburg Christian High School is a strong college preparatory academic program, which prepares its students for competitive college admissions and community leadership and service.
