Welcome to Fredericksburg Christian Upper School
As we enter our 31st year as a Christian Education ministry, we are more excited than ever to see how God has had His hand in guiding us over these past three decades. Our school verse is taken from Isaiah 40:31 which talks about receiving our strength from the Lord so much so that we shall soar like eagles. It is therefore appropriate that our school mascot is the eagle.
We have close to 450 students here at the Upper School from the 6th grade to 12th. Our next graduating class will be our 21st. We offer a very diverse and challenging academic program that will confidently prepare our students for college. We are proud of our graduates when they leave here as approximately 95% will continue on with their education. We are also confident that they will leave not only with a sound education but, equally important, they will leave with solid understanding of Our Lord Jesus Christ. One of our primary missions is to raise up young Christian men and women as leaders using Biblical principles in every area of our school. Our staff and faculty are committed to their students' spiritual well-being (in relation to their education).

There are countless opportunities for our students to get involved outside of their classes using their varied talents and abilities. We offer a full compliment of sports programs including football, soccer, field hockey, basketball and swimming. We also offer several activities here at FCS Upper Campus such as Art, Drama, Concert Band, Praise and Worship Bands, Orchestra, Missions Teams, and many other clubs that focus on service.
We have a special chapel each week when, as a school, we stop and focus on the Lord. We have our own student-led music to start our chapels followed by a special guest speaker who ministers to us all. We have had professional athletes and musicians speak to us along with business leaders and politicians, all of whom share our passion of challenging our students to look inside themselves and get to know the God of the universe who desperately wants us to seek Him out.
It is our hope and prayer that all who enter this building will see the light of Christ shining brightly and boldly through our faculty, staff, and administrators. If a student leaves here not having had the opportunity to personally experience and develop a relationship with Jesus Christ, then we have not completed our mission, and their final transcript is just a piece of paper.
