Faculty

All teachers at FCS are committed to Jesus Christ and communicate God’s love and principles for living by both word and example. Teachers are certified by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI), the state approved agency that accredits our school. Teachers must hold a Bachelor’s degree and training in their subject or grade level they teach. About 30% currently hold Master’s or other advanced degrees. The annual professional development program for teachers provides them with on-going opportunities to grow as educators. Each year teachers establish personal and professional goals with their principal including various activities that enhance and improve their teaching. The academic atmosphere in the classroom is characterized by the cultivation of relationships with each student. Teachers work closely with parents who have the ultimate responsibility for the education of their children. Each teacher works with their students to create in them a desire to honor the Lord in all they do whether it is spiritual, academic, social or physical development.
