Join Us At The Party!

Our most enjoyable times are when we get to dress up and have fun together playing games and talking. At FCMS our times of dressing up and socializing come during the fall Reformation reform1.gifparty, the Christmas Party, and the 8th grade banquet.

The Reformation Party celebrates the Protestant Reformation which began in 1517 when Martin Luther posted the 95 Theses on the chapel door in Wittenburg, Germany. This began the Protestant Reformation. We celebrate the Reformation on the 31st of October in remembrance of Martin Luther's great calling. Students dress up in Renaissance fashions and enjoy jousting and other games from the Middle Ages.

The theme for the Christmas party was, "Don't let the Grinch Steal Christmas." The student government coordinates the party, organizes the games and keeps the mission focus of the christmasp2.jpgparty. There are appetizing treats and conversation throughout the evening. "Grinch tickets" are sold and prizes are given away which raise support for the education of three ACSI students overseas. Everybody looks great in their Christmas attire. There are many winners throughout the evening, but the real victors are the ones who truly remember to keep Christ the center of Christmas.

The eighth grade banquet is held towards the end of the year. It is a time to reflect on memories of middle school, accomplishments made during middle school and praises for a new transition to young adulthood. The banquet is also a time to say thank you to moms and dads for their love and support.
