Missions Trips
Since 1989 F.C.S. has been sending out teams of students and teachers to minister in countries such as Guatemala, France, Argentina, Haiti and Uruguay. The goals of the trips include: evangelism, practical service and the presentation of music and skits. Practical service has included light construction, painting, gardening, cleaning and taking items to meet specific needs. Arrangements are made through groups of local believers and missionaries.
"In June, 2006, a group of 30 students and teachers left Fredericksburg on a mission trip to Richmond, VA. As in the previous 2 years, our team assisted the staff of Charity Family Life, in the completion of three major projects in which they needed assistance. We split our group into three teams. The largest team spent much of the week assisting in the renovation of a two story house to be used for ministry with former inmates. Renovation included major cleaning and repainting of various rooms within the facility. The second team completely redecorating of the facility used by Charity Family Life for their church worship and student classes. The worship center was prepared for use as a summer school for young children. Lastly, the third group of students completed work at a facility in Richmond which distributes clothing to low income families as well as individuals reentering the work force. The CFL staff was so extremely pleased with what the team was able to accomplish. God has richly blessed our ministry in Richmond, and those who participated in this, the third such trip. Several of our students have made decisions to enter the ministry and/or are planning on continuing their work with underprivelged families. God is so awesome!!!"

We are very thankful to those who continue to pray for and support the FCS missions efforts, but we are most of all thankful to the Lord for His gracious protection and provision as He continues to enlarge the vision.
