Drama

Drama is a year-round event at FCS. Classes participate in a variety of activities. The first year class learns a variety of subjects: basic stage movement, history, basic acting, improvisation, technical design including set, lights, costumes, and make-up. The advanced class is primarily focused on performance.

This year's spring play, Shakespear's Romeo and Juliet, was a hit with the entire school. Dr. Barham staged a modern version of the play which was amazing. The stars of this year's play included Imad M. (Romeo) and Bethany G. (Juliet) .  The actors’ performances were dexterous and all around well-done due to the their own dedication, the dedication of Dr. Barham as well as by God’s grace. When opening night finally arrived, everyone put forth their best efforts and reminded themselves that, although this performace was being seen by other people, it wasn’t put on for the audience. When you get on stage and act, you’re performing for the only one who really matters, God.
